Infant approach:

Our infant’s environment recognizes the internal need for order and establishes a calm, orderly environment. We follow the Magda Gerber’s RIE philosophy which calls for respect, and trust in the baby to be the initiator, an explorer, and a self-learner. We ensure an environment that is physically safe, cognitively challenging, and emotionally nurturing. Our teachers encourage time for uninterrupted play, sensitive and careful conservation, and consistency.

Preschool approach:

The image of the child is what facilitates this approach to learning. The environment plays a key role using Emergent Curriculum – also known as the Reggio Emilia Approach. Teachers observe the children to gain an understanding of what interests the children the most. Teachers become partners in learning as they challenge and encourage children to participate and ask questions to expand their potential.
